About Alto Lucero
Alto Lucero is a city and municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz, located about 35 km from the state capital Xalapa. The area is notable for hosting the Laguna Verde nuclear power plant, which was constructed near Punta Limón during the 1970s. This facility remains Mexico's only nuclear power plant.
