About Ansonia
Ansonia is a city in the Naugatuck Valley Planning Region of Connecticut, situated on the Naugatuck River immediately north of Derby. Located about 12 miles northwest of New Haven, it has a population of 18,918 as of the 2020 census. Visitors can reach New York's Grand Central Terminal via the Metro-North Railroad's Waterbury Branch stop at Ansonia Station.
