About Artesia
Artesia is a city in southeastern Los Angeles County, incorporated in 1959 as one of the region's Gateway Cities. Surrounded largely by Cerritos with Norwalk to the north, it serves as the childhood home of former First Lady Pat Nixon, who lived there from 1914 to 1931.
