About Atchison
Atchison serves as the county seat of Atchison County along the Missouri River in Kansas. Named for US Senator David Rice Atchison, it functioned as the original eastern terminus of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The city is also home to Benedictine College.
