Avery Street Historic District
🌳 Park in Belpre, OH
The Avery Street Historic District is a national historic district in Parkersburg, West Virginia, covering 109 acres primarily with residential and small‑commercial buildings. It contains 358 contributing structures, including churches, a school, and notable examples of Colonial Revival and Queen Anne architecture.
Something unique: U.S. Senator Johnson N. Camden (1826‑1908) owned most of the land now included in the district.
