Bennsville is a census-designated place in Charles County, Maryland, with a population of 15,288 recorded in the 2020 census. The area has expanded through residential development following the 1990s extension of Maryland Route 228, which offers quick access to Maryland Route 210. Notable local changes include the opening of North Point High School in 2006 and the straightening of Middletown Road in 2008.
