About Blackburn Hamlet
Blackburn Hamlet is a suburban community in Orléans West-Innes Ward, located in the east end of Ottawa, Ontario. Before the 2001 amalgamation, it was part of the city of Gloucester and remains surrounded by rural areas with both older and newer settlements. The community took its name from Robert Blackburn, former Member of Parliament for Russell.
