Old Fort Erie
ποΈ Attraction in Lower West Side, Buffalo, NY
Located on the Lower West Side, Old Fort Erie was the first British fort built after the Treaty of Paris in 1763. The site sits on the southern edge of the Town of Fort Erie, Ontario, directly across the Niagara River from Buffalo, New York.
Something unique: It was constructed as part of a network developed after France ceded its territories east of the Mississippi River to Great Britain.
