About Canonsburg

Canonsburg is a borough in Washington County, Pennsylvania, located 18 miles southwest of Pittsburgh. It was laid out by Colonel John Canon in 1789 and incorporated in 1802, and its history is tied to the coal district that once supplied local steel mills and mines.
