About Carolina Beach
Carolina Beach is a coastal town in New Hanover County, located about 12 miles south of Wilmington International Airport. As part of the Wilmington metropolitan area, it had a population of 6,564 during the 2020 census. The town expanded its boundaries by annexing the community of Wilmington Beach in 2000.
