The Forestry Farm Park and Zoo in University Heights is a National Historic Site of Canada that began as the Dominion Forest Nursery Station. It shipped 147 million trees between 1913 and 1966, including caragana, ash, maple, elm, and willow.
Something unique: The first shipment of trees was sent to farmers in 1916.
