Located in Orchard Valley, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens feature a 6,800 square foot conservatory with three greenhouses. The non-profit facility began as a solar heated greenhouse vision in 1977 before moving to its current site in 1987.
Something unique: An associated High Plains Arboretum is located five miles northwest of Cheyenne at an elevation of 6,200 feet.
