Located in the Amates Residencial neighborhood, the Zona arqueológica de Cholula is one of Mexico's oldest settlements with continuous occupation since the Upper Preclassic period. The site spans parts of San Pedro Cholula and San Andrés Cholula.
Something unique: Its name comes from the Nahuatl word Cholollan, meaning 'where flowing water abounds'.
