The Joker Stairs are a step street that links Shakespeare and Anderson avenues at West 167th Street in the High Bridge neighborhood of the Bronx. They sit near the 167th Street station on the NYC Subway’s 4 train and were used as a filming location for both the 2019 film Joker and its 2024 sequel.
Something unique: They are also known as the Shakespeare Steps.
