About Devils Lake
Devils Lake serves as the county seat of Ramsey County in North Dakota, named for the nearby body of water. The settlement traces its origins to a Euro-American house built in 1882 and was initially surveyed as Creelsburg before being renamed Devils Lake in 1884.
