About Elkins
Elkins is the county seat of Randolph County, West Virginia, situated along the Tygart Valley River. The city was incorporated in 1890 and named after Stephen B. Elkins, co‑founder and later U.S. Senator. It hosts Davis and Elkins College and the Mountain State Forest Festival each October.
