Located 15 kilometres north of Waterloo, it sits near the northern border where the Regional Municipality of Waterloo meets Wellington County. Covered Bridge Drive
Covered Bridge Drive features the West Montrose Covered Bridge, also known as the 'Kissing Bridge', which is the only remaining historic covered bridge in Ontario. Built between 1880 and 1881 by John Bear using oak and white pine, it crosses the Grand River and allows pedestrians, buggy traffic, and vehicles weighing less than three tonnes.
