City Island is a mile-long park located between Harrisburg and Wormleysburg in the Susquehanna River, accessible via Market Street Bridge or Walnut Street Bridge for pedestrians and cyclists.
Something unique: Its previous names have included Turkey Island, Maclay's Island, Forster's Island and Hargast Island.
