Located in the Westbourne neighborhood, Lee Memorial Park is a historic district featuring Civil War earthworks and a Wild Flower and Bird Sanctuary. The park also contains a bathhouse, the superintendent's house, and the Willcox Lake reservoir.
Something unique: Petersburg artist Bessie Niemeyer Marshall painted 238 watercolors of Lee Park herbarium specimens as part of the W.P.A. project.
