About Fleming Island
Fleming Island is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Clay County, Florida, situated on the western side of the St. Johns River. Located 21 miles southwest of downtown Jacksonville off US 17, it is part of the Jacksonville Metropolitan Statistical Area with a population that grew to 29,142 by 2020. The area received its own ZIP code, 32003, in 2004, distinguishing it from the incorporated town of Orange Park to the north.
