Quarry Lakes Regional Park is a regional park in the Niles District that is part of the East Bay Regional Parks system. The site was formerly used as a gravel quarry before being converted into a park.
Something unique: The Alameda County Water District acquired the quarry after pumping water into Alameda Creek was declared an illegal waste in 1976.
