Located at 09 South Summit Avenue, the Gaithersburg Community Museum occupies a historic former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad station building and freight shed. Designed by Ephraim Francis Baldwin and built in 1884, these structures are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Something unique: The site was served by Amtrak from 1971 to 1986 before becoming a museum.
