About Granby
Located in southwestern Quebec east of Montreal, Granby serves as the administrative center of La Haute-Yamaska Regional County Municipality and is the second most populous city in the Eastern Townships after Sherbrooke. The town’s name honors John Manners, Marquess of Granby, while its landscape features the Granby Zoo and the well-known Lac Boivin fountain. Julie Bourdon became the first female mayor of Granby when she was elected on November 7, 2021.
