Grand Parade

🌳 Park in Downtown Halifax, Halifax, NS

The Grand Parade is a historic military parade square in Downtown Halifax dating from the city's founding in 1749. It features a central cenotaph commemorating World War I soldiers, with Halifax City Hall at the north end and St. Paul's Church at the south.

Something unique: The square serves as the location for Halifax City Hall, which is the seat of municipal government in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality.
