Bowling Green
🌳 Park in Whitehall, Hoboken, NJ
Bowling Green is a small historic public park in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan, at the southern end of Broadway. It dates back to the 18th century and is surrounded by its original 18th‑century cast‑iron fence.
Something unique: The 4,000-pound statue of King George III was melted for ammunition during the American Revolutionary War.
