Hangman's Elm is an English elm located at the northwest corner of Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village. Measured around 2000, the tree stood 135 feet tall with a diameter of 67 inches.
Something unique: It is also known as "The Hanging Tree" and has a trunk diameter of 1.7 meters.
