Washington Place

🎟️ Attraction in Hawaii Capital Historic District, Honolulu, HI

Located in the Hawaii Capital Historic District, Washington Place served as the official residence of the governor of Hawaii after Queen Liliʻuokalani was arrested there during the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom. The site was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2007.

Something unique: A current governor's residence was built in 2008 behind the historic building on the same grounds.
