About Hooper
Hooper is a city in Weber County, Utah, originally called Muskrat Springs and later Hooperville after Captain William Henry Hooper, an early Utah delegate to Congress. It grew from 6,932 residents in 2010 to 9,087 by the 2020 census. The city was incorporated on November 30, 2000, transitioning from a census‑designated place.
