About Jalpa
Jalpa is a colonial-style town in Zacatecas, situated near the borders with Jalisco and Aguascalientes and about two hours south of the state capital. Modeled by the French in the 19th century, it features cobblestone streets, bright adobe houses with flat roofs, and two main plazas. A central kiosk remains in good condition after hundreds of years.
