About Juan Rodríguez Clara
Juan Rodríguez Clara is a city and municipality in southern Veracruz, situated approximately 335 km from the state capital of Xalapa. The area was established as a municipality in 1960 from land previously belonging to San Juan Evangelista. Its current name, adopted in 1925, honors a local martyr for the cause of agrarianism.
