About Kula
Kula is a census-designated place on Maui, Hawaii, stretching across the western-facing slopes of Haleakalā in Upcountry Maui. Most residential areas sit between 500 and 1,100 meters in elevation, creating a district distinct from the generally hotter and busier coastal zones. The Kula CDP had a population of 6,942 at the 2020 Census.
