About Lake Lorraine
Lake Lorraine is a census-designated place in Okaloosa County, Florida, with a population that grew from 7,010 in 2010 to 7,142 in 2020. It is part of the Crestview–Fort Walton Beach–Destin, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area and uses a Shalimar postal address. The area was originally a fresh-water body until a sandbar breach in the 1990s connected it to Choctawhatchee Bay.
