Elk Rock Gardens of the Bishop's Close is a 13‑acre hillside estate garden located in Dunthorpe, Oregon, just south of Portland. The gardens were started by Peter Kerr in 1916 and are open to visitors Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Something unique: The gardens are perched on cliffs above the Willamette River.
