About Longboat Key
Longboat Key is a town situated along Florida’s central west coast, straddling Manatee and Sarasota counties on a barrier island of the same name. Located between Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, it lies just south of Anna Maria Island. The community was incorporated in 1955 and had a population of 7,505 at the 2020 census.
