About Lorraine
Lorraine is an affluent off-island suburb of Montreal located on the north shore of the Rivière des Mille-Îles in southwestern Quebec. The community features almost entirely detached housing with no industries and a very limited commercial district, while a large portion of its territory remains wild forest containing bike and ski trails. The town is divided into upper and lower areas by Quebec freeway A-640, which are connected only by a main street overpass.
