Sidney Lanier Cottage at 935 High Street is a historic home on Macon’s High Street, once the birthplace of poet Sidney Lanier and opened to visitors in 1975. It was restored as a single family residence after its sale in 2021.
Something unique: It was purchased by the Middle Georgia Historical Society in 1973.
