About Mākaha
Mākaha is a census-designated place in Honolulu County, situated along the Pacific coast west of the Mākaha Valley and at the foot of Mount Ka'ala in the Wai’anae Mountain Range. As the last of the leeward towns on Oahu, it marks the end of development; north of here there are no towns, gas stations, or restaurants.
