About Memramcook
Memramcook is an agricultural village in Westmorland County where residents predominantly speak Chiac, a derivative of French. The area was home to the Mi'kmaq people for many years before serving as an arrival site for Acadians in 1700. Although many were deported in 1755, the village itself survived.
