🌳 Park in McGilvra, Mercer Island, WA
Covering 2,800 feet of Interstate 90 in McGilvra, Aubrey Davis Park opened in the 1990s to minimize the impact of the highway. It was renamed in 2013 after former Mercer Island mayor Aubrey Davis, who lobbied for its creation in the 1970s.
Something unique: The park was formerly known as the Mercer Island Lid and First Hill Lid.
