About Miami Gardens
Miami Gardens is a suburb in north-central Miami-Dade County, situated 16 miles north of downtown Miami. Its boundaries extend from I-95 to the west and reach the Broward County line to the north. The city takes its name from Florida State Road 860, a major roadway also known as Miami Gardens Drive.
