Located at 424 North Pinckney Street, the Mansion Hill Inn occupies the Carrie Pierce House, an elegant residence built around 1857. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 before its conversion to a hotel in 1985.
Something unique: The house was originally built for Alexander McDonnell, one of the builders of the third Wisconsin State Capitol.
