About New Baltimore
New Baltimore is an unincorporated community and census‑designated place in eastern Fauquier County, Virginia. The town has existed since the early 19th century but grew most rapidly after the 1980s, largely because it offers the easiest access to Washington, D.C., drawing many commuters. In 2006 the area officially expanded when Fauquier County designated New Baltimore as a service district, adding water and sewer utilities to support growth.
