The Fort Battleford NHS Visitor Centre is located on Central Avenue. It was the site where Chief Poundmaker was arrested during the North‑West Rebellion of 1885.
Something unique: It was here six Cree and two Stoney men were hanged for murders committed in the Frog Lake Massacre and the Looting of Battleford.
