Prince Edward County is a single-tier municipality in southern Ontario with a coastline on Lake Ontario’s northeastern shore known for Sandbanks Provincial Park, sand beaches, and limestone cliffs. The area features historic sites such as the Regent Theatre, a restored Edwardian Opera House in Picton, and Macaulay Heritage Park with its 19th-century buildings. As of 2021, the county had a census population of 25,704.
