About Ruskin
Ruskin is an unincorporated census-designated place in Hillsborough County, Florida, with a population of 28,620 as of the 2020 census. Founded on August 7, 1908, along the shores of the Little Manatee River, the community was developed by Dr. George McAnelly Miller and Addie Dickman Miller. The area was originally part of the Uzita chiefdom during the Hernando de Soto expedition in 1539.
