Located at 243 21st Street East, Hotel Senator is a downtown landmark originally constructed as the Flanagan Hotel. The building was designed by architect Walter William LaChance and featured luxury amenities for 1907, such as steam heating and marble paneling.
Something unique: James Flanagan died in 1909, and the hotel was sold by his estate in 1910 for $150,000.
