About Sechelt
Sechelt is a district municipality on the lower Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, located about 50 kilometres northwest of Vancouver. Visitors reach the area via a ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale followed by a drive along Highway 101. The community name derives from shíshálh, referring to the First Nations people who settled the region thousands of years ago.
