About Silverton
Silverton is a city in Marion County, Oregon, located about 14 miles northeast of Salem on the eastern margins of the Willamette Valley alluvial plain. The town was platted in 1854 and its name derives from Silver Creek that runs through the city from Silver Falls into the Pudding River.
