About Soledad de Doblado
Soledad de Doblado sits in the semiarid plains of Sotavento Veracruz, roughly 75 km from Xalapa. The town was named in honor of Manuel Doblado after he signed preliminary agreements with representatives of England, Spain, and France there in 1862. It officially became a city by decree in 1961.
