About Sturgeon Falls
Sturgeon Falls is a former town located on the Sturgeon River in Ontario's Nipissing District. It had a population of 6,939 at the 2021 census before being merged into the municipality of West Nipissing in 1999. This administrative change followed a failed legal challenge by the community in 1997.
